When delivering Therapeutic Storywriting, it is good practice to attend a supervision session at least twice over the 10-week intervention period.
Supervision provides you with a safe space and the opportunity to listen and learn from your
colleagues. The purpose is to support you in thinking about the children who are participating in your Storywriting Groups. You will have time to talk about a specific child you have been working with and how they are using story to process their emotional experiences.
Supervision may be provided by a service such as your Educational Psychology Service or by peer supervision if you have local colleagues also delivering the intervention.
If you do not have these options our experienced trainers run online sessions. These will have maximum of 4 professionals and last for 1 hour. The cost is £80 for 2 sessions.
